Cornerstone Christian School

On Saturday, December 28, one of our students, Ava McIntosh, had a completely unexpected respiratory event. Her parents, Joel and Ashley, rushed her to the hospital, but the medical staff were unable to help her even though every attempt was made. There are no words to describe this loss. There will be a memorial service for Ava on Friday, January 3, at 10 am. Everyone is welcome to come and remember this precious little girl that we all knew and loved so much.

We are also opening up a memorial fund that will be used to honor Ava McIntosh at Cornerstone Christian School. If you would like to give to this fund, please make a check out to Cornerstone Christian School and put Ava McIntosh’s name in the memo line. We will coordinate with Ava’s family to determine how best to use these funds to honor Ava and bless this school that she loved. 

On Monday, January 6, we have arranged for a Christian counselor to be present for the students to talk about this tragedy and help them process their grief. Also, pastor Jason will be with the students throughout the day and available to talk as well.
